About the Artist

I’m Lisa Hill; a creative professional, entrepreneur, family historian, and educator. I take a camera wherever I go - thank goodness for iPhones!
Day to day, when I’m not working with clients, I’m searching for new and creative ways to create a vision for my next portrait session. I love exploring Atlanta in search of fun backdrops and interesting landscapes.
I specialize in High School Senior photography. My favorite thing about photographing seniors is their creativity, sense of adventure, and their excitement for the future. No two sessions are ever the same.
I’m passionate about capturing the story of every person I photograph. It’s the unscripted moments that create the essence of my work.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m an active community volunteer, archive family photos, and love to read. I’m obsessed with photographing magnolias and discovered a new passion for photographing wildlife and nature during the pandemic.
I live in Atlanta with my husband, Todd, my two daughters (when they’re home from college), and my dog Aine (pronounced “awn-yah” - the name of the Irish Celtic goddess of summer).
And I’m always dreaming of being at the beach.
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
