About the American Society of Photographers

The American Society of Photographers is an international society of professional photographic artists who aspire to maintain the highest level of excellence by adhering to ethical standards, stimulating creativity and continually refining technical competence. The goal of the organization is to promote education, foster fellowship and perpetuate the ideals of photography as a science and an art.

The society’s membership of nearly 700 photographic artists is by invitation only and includes international speakers, image competition jurors, and art educators, many of whom have been featured in publications, galleries and museums worldwide. All are award-winning and hold professional degrees. ASP hosted a call for entry among its members, from which this exhibition was curated by an exceptional, independent panel of established leaders in photographic fine art. The resulting collection highlights the best in the industry.
