Photographic Excellence

The past six months have been a true diamond in my professional life! In September 2025, during the Georgia Professional Photographers Association Awards Ceremony, I received several prestigious awards. My competition images received 1st place honors and my image Afternoon Dahlia Delight earned Overall Best In Show. The images earning awards are special to me as they feature flowers I've grown, places I've traveled, and new photographic art techniques. 

I also received the State Elite Award from ASP and was recognized as Georgia Photographer of the Year!

On November 1 (also my birthday), the November issue of Professional Photographer magazine arrive in my mailbox - featuring my image "Peony Abstract"! This image was photographed in my peony garden and then painted to give it a soft, ethereal look.

In January, I traveled to Nashville to attend Imaging USA. Imaging USA is the annual convention hosted by Professional Photographers of America. During the American Society of Photographers Gala, I was honored to receive both the ASP Photographic Artistry Award and the ASP Service Medallion. These achievements are earned through photographic competition and service to ASP.

As a recipient of the ASP Photographic Artistry Award, I was invited to speak at the ASP booth in the Imaging USA Expo. This was a great opportunity for me to reflect on my photographic journey and the excitement of growing as a nature and wildlife photographer.

During the final night in Nashville, I received the Imaging Excellence medallion from PPA.

I've worked many years towards all of these awards and the stars aligned for me to meet the standards of each in the same year. 

I'm honored to receive these awards and thankful for all those who supported me and my small business to get this far!
